If I've been a bad man, I did not mean to be...

Muddy Waters

I painted this for a man who didn't mean to break hearts. I hope he's doing well.

sketch book dump

So this Thanksgiving season, I had to work the day before and the day after the holiday, so instead of flying the thousands of miles (and paying hundreds of dollars) to my home state, I instead opted for having dinner with my lovely friend B.F.'s clan. It was a very fun and also a little surreal, considering that I had met his little brother (pictured here), little sister, and some cousins 6 years ago. It's crazy to see all of them all grown up.

The few days I was there were spent being silly and playing video games with B's cousins and interrupting S's sleep with Call of Duty. All in all, I missed my family a ton, but was happy to hang out with such a loving family.  One of B's little cousins even said that I had been adopted.

My fantastic friend, T.W., with his viking beard of awesomeness. I am proud to say that one of my best friends is a kickass blacksmith.

Halloween makeups

Yes, those hooker hoops are mine.
My beautiful couply roommates, EE and DR, She was a pirate and he was her parrot. I costumed her (let it be known that I am always prepared to be a zombie or a pirate), and I did his face and hand painting.
Probably a couple of drinks deep at this point.
Annd this was my face for Halloween. Got lots of freaked out looks, but my mission on Halloween is to make men feel conflicted. Slightly sexy clothing, freakin scary makeup. Aw yissss.

Halloween Presents for Dawny

Made these for my friend Dawn, who actually wants to get comedy/tragedy tattoos eventually. I hope she liked these!

Freeky Fright Night Awesomeness

Awwww yeah, Check it!
The interviewer/guy who was filming was pretty cute. Makes me feel good that he had such a big part of my interview in the video :)

I can hear my buddy Tom laughing like an idiot in the background, heehee.

Freeky Fright Night

Having this gallery opening next week with a bunch of people I love and respect. I'm SO excited to be putting out my most recent work!

The opening is a Costume Ball, so everyone who comes out should be clad in most resplendent garb.
Come out and party!

Sophomore year...

I made this label for a friend of mine who decided to bottle his own hard cider (it was an ill fated endeavor, but his bottles looked awesome).

And now, and old friend of mine shared with me that he has been making his own delicious brews. He told me that he makes mead and I said "SERIOUSLY! MEAD IS AWESOME!"
So I offered him my services in designing him labels and logos. Hopefully those will be coming in the near future.

End of Senior Year Portfolio Stuff

Companion to the Bearded Lady Painting, this one is the Strong Man. The lovely Pat Falco modeled for this. Sorry Ladies, he is taken (and his body doesn't actually look quite like that).

I actually originally painted this a year ago, but then managed to become a better painter, so I revamped it.
I really want to do a series of band posters and will probably do that this summer... Hopefully.

City of Angels

Oh, hey gurl.
So, I'm doing another theater production at the Cambridge YMCA, but this time it's with the Longwood Players. Huzzah! It's looking to be an all star prod staff, including two of my favorite people, Matt and Brie.

I get to paint 2 pinups for the set, which are supposed to be awkwardly displayed in the apartment and office of the main character. I hope everyone likes this first one.

My submission to Space 242's GET YOUR FREAK ON show which will be opening in... April?
Something like that.
Huzzah this got in. My roommate Nathalie got work in as well which is pretty awesome!

Things for Dillon

Drawing up these for my childhood friend (and son of one of my mom's closest friends), Dillon. I do not have a scanner so my process images are notoriously isight camera crappy.

Look, I made some books!

Pretty exemplary of what my friend Mike once called my "Punk Rock Grandma" aesthetic.
