So this Thanksgiving season, I had to work the day before and the day after the holiday, so instead of flying the thousands of miles (and paying hundreds of dollars) to my home state, I instead opted for having dinner with my lovely friend B.F.'s clan. It was a very fun and also a little surreal, considering that I had met his little brother (pictured here), little sister, and some cousins 6 years ago. It's crazy to see all of them all grown up.

The few days I was there were spent being silly and playing video games with B's cousins and interrupting S's sleep with Call of Duty. All in all, I missed my family a ton, but was happy to hang out with such a loving family.  One of B's little cousins even said that I had been adopted.

Halloween makeups

Yes, those hooker hoops are mine.

My beautiful couply roommates, EE and DR, She was a pirate and he was her parrot. I costumed her (let it be known that I am always prepared to be a zombie or a pirate), and I did his face and hand painting.

Probably a couple of drinks deep at this point.

Annd this was my face for Halloween. Got lots of freaked out looks, but my mission on Halloween is to make men feel conflicted. Slightly sexy clothing, freakin scary makeup. Aw yissss.

Sophomore year...

I made this label for a friend of mine who decided to bottle his own hard cider (it was an ill fated endeavor, but his bottles looked awesome).

And now, and old friend of mine shared with me that he has been making his own delicious brews. He told me that he makes mead and I said "SERIOUSLY! MEAD IS AWESOME!"
So I offered him my services in designing him labels and logos. Hopefully those will be coming in the near future.

End of Senior Year Portfolio Stuff

Companion to the Bearded Lady Painting, this one is the Strong Man. The lovely Pat Falco modeled for this. Sorry Ladies, he is taken (and his body doesn't actually look quite like that).

I actually originally painted this a year ago, but then managed to become a better painter, so I revamped it. 

I really want to do a series of band posters and will probably do that this summer... Hopefully.

City of Angels

Oh, hey gurl.

So, I'm doing another theater production at the Cambridge YMCA, but this time it's with the Longwood Players. Huzzah! It's looking to be an all star prod staff, including two of my favorite people, Matt and Brie.

I get to paint 2 pinups for the set, which are supposed to be awkwardly displayed in the apartment and office of the main character. I hope everyone likes this first one.

It's almost time for me to go back home to Arizona, which is a really nice feeling. I'm ready to get out of here for a while and just be with my family and old friends.

Degree Project Peek

Sneek peek here of my last painting for my degree project. It's coming along and I'd say that its about 85% there. My god, I'm so excited to be nearing completion. My book structure is also done, so that means that all I have to finish are the 3D pieces and the printouts of the images and then I'm DONE with my DP! 

Great times have been had recently in the studio as well: Carrying around Tony on my back, babysitting drunk people, watching my guy friends do kissing dances at each other, and of course the never ending slew of bad movies that comes with 24 hour access.
